On Wednesday, Feb. 23, (7-8:30pm) we will hold a talk on the US Supreme Court and separation of church and state. Our speaker will be UMKC Professor Doug Linder. He will give a one hour presentation followed by a half hour for questions. The talk will be held at UMKC School of Law, in Room 03 (lower level).
Location and Parking: UMKC School of Law is located at the corner of 52nd and Oak Streets, at 500 E. 52nd St, Kansas City, MO. Room 03 is on the lower level. The visitor parking lot is located on the west side of Oak St. directly across from Administrative Center for $1 per hour.

150 Years On, What's All The Fuss About Evolution, Science Education and Church and State?
In recognition of the 150th Anniversary of the publication of "On the Origin of Species" by Charles Darwin, the Greater Kansas City Chapter of Americans United for separation of church and state and Kansas Citizens for Science will be presenting a panel discussion on evolution and it's importance to both science education and church-state separation. Afterwards, we will have a question and answer session. This event is open to public. All are welcome!Date/Time: Friday, November 6, 2009 from 7:00-9:00pm.
Place: Johnson County Community College, Room CC 234 in the Carlsen Center building. Overland Park, KS.
